Preferred EAP is bringing more love to this Valentine’s Day in a special webinar. We have combined the energy of the song, “Put a Little Love in Your Heart,” released in 1969 by singer-songwriter Jackie DeShannon, which has since become a symbol of peace and unity, with the “Loving Kindness Meditation,” an age-old practice that cultivates good will and friendliness toward oneself and others. Loving Kindness is a secular practice, not confined to any religion or philosophy. It has been revived in recent years by mindfulness practitioners, taught in mindfulness programs, and studied by researchers for its potential benefits – including reduced self-criticism, enhanced well-being, and resilience. You don’t need to be in a committed relationship to benefit from this webinar: Loving Kindness is a simple practice that is easy to do and is universally uplifting.
