Michael J. Weiss
Administrator, Health Informatics
For the last 15 years, Michael has held various roles in Populytics, a leading population health management and data analytics firm, and across Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN), one of the largest hospital networks in southeastern Pennsylvania. Currently, as Administrator of Health Informatics at Populytics, he is at the forefront of data strategy, steering the teams responsible for intake, normalization, and aggregation of both payer claims and EMR data. In addition, he leads the technical reporting of quality metrics to payers and is responsible for design and reporting related to incentive programs that keep providers engaged.
Michael’s areas of expertise include financial forecasting pertinent to payer-provider relationships, health care policy, value-based care program development, and outcomes and performance measurement. He has published more than 50 peer-reviewed articles involving both clinical and health services research and served as an adjunct professor in Applied Epidemiology and Biostatistics at DeSales University, Center Valley, PA. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science from Wagner College, Staten Island, NY, and a Master of Public Health from Rutgers University School of Public Health, New Brunswick, NJ.
